The Rhinos were unable to record back-to-back wins on a cold day at Castleknock College.
The Rhinos fell behind early to a strongly-executed Belfast Trojans offensive drive.
Looking to answer through strong running from Ethan Foster, Paddy Roche and Samson Olesegun, the Rhinos worked to the Trojans 15, but a fumble would lead to the visitors recovering the ball.
The Trojans offense continued to fire and put the visitors into a 28-0 half-time lead, which would be added to in the second half. The Rhinos D did turn the ball over near their own goal line, with Andy Meehan responsible.
In the 4th, QB Foster connected with Jonny Northcutt for a long pass completion, before repeating the trick to find Paul Hosford in the endzone. Hosford would add the PAT before the Trojans finished the game out.
The day was also notable as Morane Senyarich became the first woman to ever play a game for the Rhinos.
Next up, the Rhinos face the other Belfast side, the Knights on May 5th at home.
Thanks to the Trojans for a great game and to Sidewalk Catering for providing food on the day.
